MATTHEW 9:35  And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Yesterday I was speaking to a woman who is about 70 years of age, and she is a Jehovah's Witness.  We were talking about miracles and she said that they ended with the Apostles.. when they died.  My response to her was...... "Really?"  So I proceeded to tell her a string of miracles that I have personally witnessed.  ....Broken bones healed instantly, tumors gone, hearing restored, new eardrums instantly created.... cancer removed... people, including myself, delivered from dependence on medication... (Thyroid pills, "Synthroid").  Then, she (Nancy) interrupted me and asked if I had any "documented proof"....  Which kinda puzzled me... like a written report filed with the court system?  ....No.  But how many witnesses do you need? ...Why should I have to "document" what I already know?  Proof for non-believers?  Miracles certainly still happen today.  I don't have to prove it.  I have to believe it....  And I do!

Nancy, a Jehovah's Witness, takes five medications a day and walks with a cane.  I asked her "Why?".  Her response... "Because the doctor told me."  ...And I believe that is true, that she does need those medications to function in this world, ...because she believes it.  So I told her that God could set her free from the pain and medications.  She looked at me, kinda blank,..... and I simply told her to "Ask Him".  .....Zip,....Zero,.....Nuttin'!  She and her partner, Arlene, left the store.  So I just figured...."Okay, Lord, ...seed planted!"

Healing is part of the Atonement.  Christ suffered and died so that we would be free of sin.... and sickness, disease, infirmity...  People who don't understand that revelation will continue to walk in weakness, sickness, disease and infirmity.  So, how do you get that kind of "revelation" (understanding)?  Pray about it... like you're talking to the Great Physician.. because you are.
